X-Men: Children Of The Atom DescriptionTen mutant heroes and villians compete in one-on-one combat to decide the fate of the world. Each hero and villian has special powers that can be unleashed upon opponents. Play culminates after defeating the two mutant bosses, The Juggernaut and Magneto.Know anything more about this game? Cheats, Tricks and BugsAkuma code: Move your cursor all the way down to Spiral and hold for two seconds. Then, in one motion, move left to Iceman's icon. Now cut back and go over to Colussus, move up to Cyclops, move right to Omega Red and finally move to Silver Samurai. Hold here for two seconds and then hit and hold Fierce Punch, Roundhouse Kick and Quick Jump.Game PlayBased upon the popular comic book series X-Men by Marvel Comics, this game gives the players the opportunity to pit their favorite mutant heroes and villians against one another. The game play is similar to that of the Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams series. Players can control either one of the six X-Men (Cyclops, Storm, Ice Man, Colossus, Psylocke, and Wolverine), or one of their four evil adversaries (Silver Samurai, Spiral, The Sentinel, and Omega Red). Once their characters have been selected, the players will meet each of the other nine opponents in one-on-one combat.A player wins a round when he has twice caused his opponent's health meter to run out. Each battle is the best two out of three rounds. A time limit is placed on each round, but should the timer run out, the winner of the round will be determined by the mutant possesing the most energy left in his health meter. After defeating all the opponents, a player's mutant will go head-to-head with the two bosses, The Juggernaut and Magneto. Like in Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams, each mutant has a special power that can be unleashed upon opponents by performing certain combinations of button and joystick movements. The amount of damage a mutant's special power will do depends upon the amount of energy the character has stored up in his power meter. Energy is stored in the power meter when your mutant is hit, blocks a hit, or attacks his opponent. Rarity is NOT necessarily an indication of value. Some common games show up as very rare here because collectors don't want them (they are common because arcade operators might be sitting on tons of them in warehouses), while some fairly scarce games are grabbed by collectors every time they show up. Additionally, some games made in the last 5 years are still making money for operators and are thus not yet affordable to the typical collector.
